Concert Policies and Guidelines

Concert Times
Gates open at 4:30 p.m. for sponsors and donors and 5 p.m. for general public. All concerts begin at 7 p.m.

Seating
All seating is on the lawn or ground, picnic style. Because of space constraints, spreading a blanket for picnics or seating must be outside the Preferred Seating section. At large concerts please collapse tables, etc., well before performance begins. View the festival's concert seating chart.

Special Seating
Patrons with special seating needs should inform the Ticket Office when purchasing tickets by calling 530-583-3101.

Late Seating
Latecomers are asked to sit in the back or off to the sides of the concert site until intermission.

Chairs

image

NEW THIS YEAR! The conforming chair height is 13” or lower from the seat to the floor with the chair back no higher than shoulder level for all sections.  High back or tall chairs may be used at the very rear of the venue (not per section) and the far sides of venues only. You may be asked to move if the crowd size expands and you begin blocking the view of others.  Our lower 4” sand chairs are available as rental chairs at each concert for $3 or two for $5.

Picnics
Picnics are encouraged and are an integral part of our festival experience. Purchase a gourmet picnic on-site or bring one from home. Read more about picnicking at the festival and review the menu.

NEW THIS YEAR! Smoking and Alcohol
All venues are non-smoking. A $5 corkage fee per bottle for wine is available for patrons attending any of our concerts. Wine bottles will be corked and labeled upon entrance to the venues. Outside beer and spirits are NOT ALLOWED. Bags will be checked prior to entrance. For convenience, a selection of wine, beer and other alcoholic beverages is available for sale at each of our concerts, including wines by the bottle. You must be 21 to purchase alcoholic beverages at the festival and present a valid ID.

Dress
Evenings at Lake Tahoe are cooler so we recommend dressing in layers and bring blankets for that little extra layer of warmth. Tahoe nights are also dark and a flashlight may come in handy as you return to your car.

Audio/Video
Cameras, videotaping or live audio recordings are not permitted.

Program Changes
Repertoire or artists are subject to change with minimum notice. Changes will be posted immediately once confirmed.
