Dear Friend of The Lake Tahoe Music Festival,
In the immortal words of Mark Twain, “ The reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated! ” So too are the reports of the demise of the Lake Tahoe Music Festival.
Our Board of Directors has a renewed energy, thanks to all the kind words of support from our friends and patrons. You have all encouraged us in your letters, e-mails and phone calls to revitalize and reinvent the Lake Tahoe Music Festival. We are bouyed by your words, we hear your call and we request your help!
The current plan for 2013 - is to get back to our grass roots efforts to provide outdoor classical music in spectacular settings around the Lake and in Truckee. Timm Rolek, our returning Music Director, has put together the Orchestra Academy, consisting of 14 string musicians and a recognized soloist to mentor these young professionals and perform at the concerts.

Serenade at Sunset Concert Series
All concerts begin at 6:30 with gates open at 5:00 for picnicking. Bring low back chairs or blankets for seating.
