CONCERTS:  Hints & Policies
PROGRAM CHANGES
Repertoire or artists are subject to change with minimum notice. Changes will be posted on this site when possible.
PREFERRED TICKETS
Preferred ticket-holders are seated in an area starting closer to the stage; at Homewood this seating extends back and up into the tiers in the center area.
GENERAL TICKETS
General ticket-holders are seated behind and/or to the sides of the preferred seating section.
Lawn TICKETS at homewood
This area is behind both General and Preferred.
LATE SEATING
Latecomers are asked to sit in the back or off to the sides of the concert site until intermission.
CAMERAS
No cameras or recording devices are allowed.
LOST/STOLEN TICKETS
Lost or stolen tickets are the responsibility of the purchaser; only tickets purchased on-line may be replaced and must be replaced at least one day prior to the concert through ClicknPrint (see their online directions).
REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
All ticket purchases are final. There are no refunds or exchanges. If a concert is cancelled for any reason, we will accommodate you at another concert (space permitting), provide tickets for the following season, or give you a receipt for a tax-deductible donation. This is done at the discretion of Lake Tahoe Music Festival. Concerts will be rescheduled or moved indoors when possible. Thank you for understanding that by the time a concert is cancelled, all expenses have been incurred by the Festival.
Chairs
Outdoor chairs and backrests with legs 4" or less in height and chair backs no higher than shoulder level are permitted. High back or tall chairs may be used at the very rear of the venue (not per section) and the far sides of venues only. You may be asked to move if the crowd size expands and you begin blocking the view of others. Conforming chairs are available in limited quantity for rent at $3 each or 2 for $5.
Seating
All seating is on the lawn or ground, picnic style. Because of space constraints, spreading a blanket for picnics or seating must be outside the Preferred Seating section. At large concerts, please collapse tables, etc., well before performances begin.
Picnics
Picnics are encouraged at our outdoor venues as an integral part of the experience. Hard alcohol is strictly prohibited at all concerts. Please collapse all tables before the performance and restore your picnic area to its pristine condition.
