Venues and Directions
The Lake Tahoe Music Festival plans each concert to incorporate the Lake Tahoe and Truckee area’s breathtaking vistas and starry night skies that will truly take your breath away. Venues range from gently sloping ski runs to grassy driving ranges and even lakeside beaches. Concert venues are conveniently located and accessible from Interstate 80. If you’re flying in to enjoy this summer music destination the Reno-Tahoe International Airport is just 45 minutes away.

Northstar-at-TahoeTM Resort
Northstar-at-TahoeTM Resort provides a scenic venue at mid-mountain and tucked into a graded bowl with vistas incorporating the forest and valley below. Donor and general parking are plentiful in Northstar’s Lower Village, Village View and Castle Peak parking lots. Complimentary shuttle service will be provided from both the Castle Peak parking lots and the Village at Northstar to the mid-mountain concert venue. Additionally, concert-goers can ride the Big Springs Gondola from the Village to mid-mountain, also complimentary. Northstar Resort also features valet parking with will be available on each concert night at Northstar Resort. Access Northstar from Highway 267 just south of Truckee. Get directions and map it.
Arriving at Northstar Resort
Lake Tahoe Music Festival guests arriving to Northstar Resort will be directed to park in the Lower Village parking lots and the Village View parking lots which are both located in close proximity to the Village at Northstar™. Additionally, valet parking at the Village will be available for a fee of $20 per vehicle.
Guests that park in the Lower Village parking lot will walk to the Village where they have two options for transport to the mid-mountain concert venue – guests may take a scenic and relaxing ride on the Big Springs Gondola (no charge) or go to Post # 2 in the Village Transit Center to get on a shuttle and ride to the concert venue.
Guests that park in the Village View parking lots will either walk to the Village or proceed to one of six (6) designated shuttle stops located within the Village View parking lots. They will be picked up by a Northstar shuttle and transported to the Village Transit Center. Once they get off the shuttle in the Transit Center, they have two options for transport to the mid-mountain concert venue – guests may take a scenic and relaxing ride on the Big Springs Gondola (no charge) or they may go to Post # 2 in the Village Transit Center to get on a shuttle and ride to the concert venue.
Shuttles going to the mid-mountain concert venue will depart every 20 minutes from Post #2 in the Village Transit Center beginning at 4:30pm and continuing until 7:00pm
Old Greenwood

Old Greenwood is Lake Tahoe's premier four-season resort community and home of Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf. It’s situated in the historic town of Truckee on 600 acres of towering pines and blue-sage covered hills. Concerts take place on the green with trees surrounding the venue. Old Greenwood is located just off Interstate 80 and parking is available from Fairway Drive. Get directions and map it.
Tahoe Donner
Located just three miles from Truckee, Calif., Tahoe Donner Golf Course and Driving Range is enveloped in towering pines and features beautiful views of the surrounding mountain scenery. Tahoe Donner’s driving range is next to the Trout Creek Recreation Center on Northwoods Blvd. in Truckee. Parking is available at the Trout Creek Recreation Center and along Northwoods Blvd. with complimentary shuttles to the concert area. Get directions and map it.
West End Beach at Donner Lake
West End Beach is a 10-acre facility located high on the California side of the Sierra on the west shore of Donner Lake. This popular summer spot features breathtaking vistas and sunsets, a perfect complement the Festival experience. Parking is available in adjacent lots on Southshore Drive and along neighboring streets and roads. Complimentary shuttles provide service to the concert area. Get directions and map it.
Additional Venues
Granlibakken Conference Center and Lodge
Granlibakken is the home base for our Orchestra Academy providing lodging, rehearsal and performance space for students and instructors in the 10-day summer program.

Martis Camp
At the end of each summer concert series the festival thanks its benefactors with an invitation-only party and concert at the Martis Camp Family Barn. The picturesque performance stage and amphitheater is adjacent to walking trails and meandering streams that lead to a private lake. Martis Camp is located on Schaffer Mill Road off Highway 267 in Truckee. Get directions and map it.
