Celebrate live music under the stars at the Lake Tahoe Music Festival’s six-concert outdoor summer series. North Lake Tahoe’s hottest summer music experience brings together a diverse selection of artists playing music from blues to Bach and beyond. Opening Night Gala

Our summer concert series kicks off annually with a fantastic Opening Gala at the private Brushwood Estate along the pristine west shore of Lake Tahoe. Combining great food, great friends, live music and a live and silent auction, the event is not to be missed. Join us for Strictly Classical –Intimate Evenings with the Lake Tahoe Music Festival, special hour-long evening concerts hosted on the lawn at Granlibakken Conference Center and Lodge. “Classical New and Old,” features the Orchestra Academy with special guest Ariana Ghez, principal Oboist for the Los Angeles Philharmonic. The evening’s music includes Mozart Symphony 35, Vaughn Williams Oboe Concerto (Ariana Ghez, soloist) and Prokofiev Classical Symphony. Tickets are limited to 225. The Lake Tahoe Music Festival begins its summer concert series July 22 with America – 40th Anniversary Tour. Hosted at the intimate West End Beach at Donner Lake, the concert brings together Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell for an evening of hits including their signature song, “A Horse With No Name.”

Broadway's Best with Debbie Gravitte and the Orchestra Academy

Vibrant vocals and magnetic stage presence are the trademarks of one of Broadway's biggest personalities, Debbie Gravitte. A Tony Award-winner for her performance in “Broadway,” Gravitte’s career has been varied, taking her from the bright lights of Broadway, around the world and back again. She returns to Lake Tahoe after her smash performance at the festival’s 2009 Benefactor Concert for our “Best of Broadway” concert.

Simply Sinatra with Steve Lippia and the Orchestra Academy

This year we’re taking our Orchestra Night on a swingin’ ride…straight to the “sing era” of the 40s and 50s with “Simply Sinatra” starring vocalist Steve Lippia. He'll belt out tunes including "My Way," "New York New York" and "Mack the Knife," just to name a few. The festival’s Orchestra Academy, complete with 36 of the nation’s top student musicians round out the evening’s billing.

Benefactors Concert featuring Nikki Yanofsky

Invitation-Only Concert for Sponsors and Donors at the Musician Level ($1,000+) and above.

The Lake Tahoe Music Festival’s Benefactor Concert is an invitation-only event to thank corporate sponsors and festival donors, and set amongst the pines at the Martis Camp Family Barn. The evening stars 16-year-old jazz vocalist Nikki Yanofsky. If you watched the Opening or Closing Ceremonies of the Vancouver Winter Olympic Games then you probably heard Nikki Yanofsky belt out “I Believe” and “O Canada,” entertaining millions and earning a legion of fans. She makes her way to the U.S. for our special evening. The concert includes a pre-show reception with hors d’oeuvres and champagne.
